Gobble, gobble, everyone. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on Live Journal from Moses, Kimalu, Cliff, Rufus, Matt, Laurie, Samuel, Vadoma, and, of course, Alfred Fischer.
If you didn't get a UPS parcel yesterday or tomorrow, let me know. I want to track it. Best to you. I'm looking forward to getting back into your story soon.
Yes, Nathan, I received your package late yesterday. I really don't know what to say except that it was most unexpected and most welcome. Thank you very much.
I always say that if you're going to write a novel, then it's probably a good idea to have something to write it with. Microsoft Word is a wonderful solution to that dilemma. How did you know I'm a software junkie?
It must be a wonderful feeling to see your hard work bound and printed. I did send Nano a contribution, both to cover its expenses and to support the library fund. I'm sure I would have anyway, but the copy of your volume got me to move sooner.
Reading "Tothelea" has been on my required list for some time, so that's an added bonus. I'm looking forward to becoming acquainted with the work of Nina Tang, as well. My only question is whether the bound versions are the final ones. When last I looked "Accidental Witness" was still listed as a work in progress. Have you finished? By the way, I really enjoyed working along with you as the revision unfolded.
I won't get around to reading "Security & Exchange" until December, unfortunately, but time is pressing as you well know. I'm also planning to read your earlier work, "Willow Mills."
No worries about reading my own Nano entry. I really can't recommend it to anyone. It's beginning to read, in parts, like a travel brochure, a good indication, I thing, that I sorely need a vacation. I don't regret starting, but I am looking forward to the finish.
Accidental Witness is definitely still a work in progress. The version you have is a slightly cleaned up version of what is posted on my blog site. It is actually one before the one you worked on, but I still haven't finished the last two chapters of that revision. Now I'm in almost the same place with Security & Exchange. I crossed a major hurdle in the writing today, though, so have just four more chapters of that to go.
I knew you didn't have Word from some of your earlier posts, and even though this isn't the version that will come out soon, it is probably the one that will work best with your computer. Enjoy and write more!
I've had to delay continuing to read several friends works while I powered through this hurdle and look forward to picking up again after I finish S&E. With luck, I'll reach the end of the writing this weekend and then I'll spend some time getting caught up on other people's work.
Hope you enjoy both the book and the software. You certainly have my thanks for all the work you did on AW.

Once again, thanks for the nice prezzies. Cheers!
